All of Manchester United’s star players are shining right now - and that includes Paul Pogba. The Frenchman has blown hot and cold too often during his second spell at Old Trafford, but when he’s on form there are few better midfielders on the planet.Pogba scored his first goal of what has been a largely frustrating season against Aston Villa on Thursday night.Bruno Fernandes found Pogba on the edge of the box and the World Cup winner brilliantly steered the ball into the bottom corner of the net past Pepe Reina.Pogba’s goal helped United complete a convincing 3-0 victory over Villa as they continue their push towards securing a top-four finish. But that wasn’t the only moment of magic from the France international at Villa Park.p1ecqun07u9dagmr1pi81u9evvu9.jpgJust minutes before scoring, Pogba produced a beautiful piece of close control to escape the clutches of both Jack Grealish and Trezeguet. The footage has been slowed down, but you may need to watch it a couple of times to enjoy every subtle touch Pogba takes during this passage of play…

That’s superb. A brilliant display of how to retain possession under pressure.

Let’s check out some of the reaction on social media…

There’s a possibility that Pogba and Grealish will be teammates at United next season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to be keen on bringing Grealish to Old Trafford for the 2020-21 season, while the player is reportedly interested a move if Villa are relegated to the Championship.

But will Pogba still be a Man Utd player next season?

It was reported earlier this week that Pogba, who was previously keen to force a move away from Old Trafford, is now wiling to open talks over a new contract at United.

But the 27-year-old was coy when asked about his future by Sky Sports after the final whistle.

Right now, I’ve been injured for a very long time, I focused on myself to get back and help the team as much as I can. We have two goals, to go for the Europa League and FA Cup, we focus on that," he said, per the Manchester Evening News.

“We’re really pleased with ourselves but we know we have to carry on, we talk before the game and before training that we have to carry on, that’s what Manchester United is," he said.

"It’s a big club, we want to keep the level up always, the performance today and the past few weeks are very good and they are the standard of Manchester United.

“We didn’t win the Premier League, that’s the goal, obviously we have to keep working, there’s a lot to do."
