Footage has emerged that reportedly shows Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland being kicked out of a nightclub in Norway on Saturday night. The clip was recorded on Snapchat and has since been shared on social media.Haaland, 19, can be seen being pushed away by a man who appears to be security. The Dortmund forward then tries to argue with the man before being helped away. Not much else is known about the incident just yet.

It’s certainly not a scene that Haaland or Dortmund would have wanted to go viral on social media.

The young striker, who has enjoyed a blistering rise over the past year, is currently having a break following the conclusion of the Bundesliga season.

Haaland was very impressive for Dortmund following his arrival last December, scoring 13 goals in 15 appearances in the league.

His goals weren’t enough to stop Bayern Munich romping to an eighth-straight title, though.

By the looks of his Instagram account, the work hasn’t stopped for Haaland.

Haaland has been a breath of fresh air since bursting onto the scene with Red Bull Salzburg, and there is now a belief that we’re looking at a player with the potential to become a modern day great.

“Erling has it all, he is exceptional as a footballer and for his character. He is focused on improving,” Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund told AS earlier this year, per Yahoo.

"You never know what can happen one hundred per cent in the future, but I see him playing in a great club and being one of the best strikers in Europe and the world, if not the best, for the next decade. His potential is enormous."

GIVEMESPORT’s Scott Wilson says:

It’s worth remembering that Haaland is just 19 years old. Getting into a bit of trouble at that age isn’t uncommon.

It’s a little embarrassing that the footage has come out and Dortmund may need to have a word with the striker, but nothing more than that.

The 2020/21 Bundesliga season kicks off on September 18 and provided Haaland returns for pre-season training in good condition, Dortmund won’t have a problem with him letting off some steam.
