Swindon youngsters Abdul Said and Matt Clark have been offered professional contracts for next season.

The midfielders are the only two second-year scholars to progress into Town's first team and will now link up with the squad when they return for duty in the summer ahead of the 2011/12 campaign.

Under-18s manager Paul Bodin told Town's official website: "I am delighted for Matt and Abdul who now have the chance to make an impression in the senior set-up and prove their potential."

He added: "Naturally I feel for the five lads who have not made the cut having worked closely with them over the past two years.

"We will support them in their endeavours to find another club and wish them the very best for the future."
