WWE has always been home to larger than life characters.

Hulk Hogan was arguably Vince McMahon's first 'Superstar' and since then, professional wrestling hasn't looked back.

We've been blessed with Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Ric Flair and of course, who could forget The Undertaker.

So many legendary names. But who is the GREATEST WWE Superstar of all time? The one that stands above the rest?

That's a question wrestling fans love to debate and over 119,000 of them have been doing just that on Ranker.com

So, let's not waste any more time. Here's a countdown of the 30 greatest WWE Superstars, as voted for by the fans. Check out 30-21 below:

30. Batista

The Animal was always going to feature on this list. Evolution, six world title reigns and a very successful Hollywood career post-WWE cements that.

Batista ranks at 30

29. Rob Van Dam

Always a fan favourite, Van Dam won it all in WWE and ECW. He's a grand slam champion who at 49, still isn't officially retired today. Legend.

28. Big Show

Controversially, we're going to suggest Big Show is a bit high on this list. He's great - yes. But top 30 of all time? We're just not convinced.

27. Scott Hall

A two-time Hall of Famer. If that doesn't secure his legendary status alone, being a member of one of the greatest factions in history (nWo) surely does.

Hall is in the WWE Hall of Fame twice

26. Eddie Guerrero

An icon taken well before his time. Guerrero should arguably be much higher on this list.

25. Rey Mysterio

Talking about being much higher, having Mysterio in 25th seems low. Perhaps fans will start to appreciate his legacy more when he walks away from WWE? That's rumoured to be very soon.

24. Brock Lesnar

WWE's biggest draw these days. Lesnar may not be the most exciting 'character'... but you can't take your eyes off his match. Most of the time, that's because they last less than three minutes...

Lesnar is a huge draw in WWE

23. Jeff Hardy

The Charismatic Enigma is still a huge fan favourite. It's just a shame WWE aren't doing too much with him these days.

22. Sting

One of pro-wrestling's greatest ever icons. Placing 22nd on the list seems rather low, considering all he achieved in a career that spanned three decades.

21. Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat

Another true legend of the business. Induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009 rounded off a perfect career which saw The Dragon feature in AWA, WCW and the WWF.

The Dragon is a WWE icon
