Liverpool have been Premier League champions for almost three weeks now but they’re still a week away from lifting the trophy. When Chelsea beat Manchester City 2-1 on June 25, the Merseysiders had finally won the Premier League for the first ever time. That night, we saw the players celebrating wildly as they all gathered in a hotel while fans disobeyed social distancing guidelines to gather outside Anfield. The celebrations may have died down but the feeling of euphoria probably hasn't.Being crowned champions has probably affected the form of Jurgen Klopp’s side as they’ve since been thrashed by Manchester City and drawn at home to Burnley. But none of that will matter when they get their hands on the Premier League trophy next Wednesday following the match against Chelsea at Anfield.p1ed7jmhmc1ijg15j21unljfqiomf.jpgBut how will Liverpool do their trophy presentation with no fans inside the stadium?Back in May, we saw how RB Salzburg conducted a bizarre socially distancing trophy lift after winning the Austrian Cup final.

But Liverpool have had more time to think of how to do theirs and it seems they’ve come up with a plan.

Last week, BBC commentator Conor McNamara noticed that some of the flags on the Kop were being removed.

“They are taking down some of the banners in the Kop end at Anfield... apparently in order to build a stage/podium for the Premier League trophy presentation…” he tweeted.

And on Tuesday night, images circulated of the Kop missing hundreds of seats behind the goal.

Fans were soon speculating exactly why seats were missing and assumed it was for the trophy lift.

And it seems they’re right.

According to Jonathan Higgins - a journalist for Redmen TV and Thisisanfield, the club building a podium.

He wrote: “A podium is getting built on the Kop for the Premier League trophy presentation after the Chelsea game. The ground will go into darkness and a massive lights show will start with pyrotechnics on every roof. It's going to be an iconic moment.”

Sounds amazing.

But those fans hoping for a now traditional Jordan Henderson trophy shuffle might be disappointed after the captain suffered a serious knee injury against Brighton.

Whether or not he will be shuffling, Klopp confirmed the skipper will definitely be lifting the trophy next week.

“He deserves to lift the trophy – and he will lift the trophy. As I said, no surgery needed, that's the good news. For all the rest, we can make our own decisions – or I think a few decisions at least – how it will be around the trophy lift.

“But Hendo will lift the trophy.”

It looks like he’ll be lifting it in the Kop…
