PlayStation 5's Amazon page has officially gone live showing off brand new details

Gaming enthusiasts have been treated to extra images and details of the PlayStation 5 console as the official Amazon page went live earlier this week.

The highly anticipated launch of the PlayStation 5 has long been a subject of speculation, and last month, Sony released the first official images of the console.

Now, it all feels a little closer as gamers can browse the Amazon landing page for the soon-to-be launched PlayStation 5.

The page is brimming with new content showcasing the sleek and stylish console, including the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, while an array of accompanying gadgets and accessories can also be explored.

Sony is adamant that the console will also perform just as well as it looks, with the description boasting that players will ‘experience lightning fast loading with an ultra-high speed SSD’ as well as ‘an all-new generation of incredible PlayStation games.'

Among those games will be 'The Last of Us Part II', 'Resident Evil Village' and 'Spider-Man: Miles Morales'.

The exciting accessories that have been unveiled show the commitment Sony are making to enhancing the gaming experience, notably with the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset which comes complete with noise-cancelling microphones.

Keen eyes will also be passed over the DualSense charging station which allows gamers to charge two controllers at the same time. Other accessories include a Media Remote and a HD Camera.

Unfortunately, there is one vital aspect of the page which is missing – a pre-order button. Speculation circulating the industry suggested that Sony were going to reveal the price and release date on July 13, however, the mere presence of the product on Amazon should instil hope that an announcement is just around the corner.

For now, those who are losing sleep over the launch of the PlayStation 5 can head over to the Amazon page to watch the new product and gameplay videos, while we wait for an official launch date.
