Liverpool are eyeing Premier League records.

The Reds have three games of the season remaining, against Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United.

They have, so far, taken 93 points from 35 games and need to win all three if they are to break Manchester City’s top-flight record of 100 points.

Two wins and a draw would bring them level with Pep Guardiola’s men.

However, their attention may already have shifted to the summer transfer window.

It will, of course, be difficult to strengthen such a squad, having lost just twice all season in the Premier League.

But there do appear to be a number of departures that could well take place in the summer.
Adam Lallana, the attacking midfielder, is one who could depart.

The 32-year-old has struggled for minutes this term, making just three starts in the top-flight, even scoring against Manchester United after coming on as a substitute.

But there are two Premier League clubs who would like to secure his signature.

Per Football Insider, both Burnley and Brighton & Hove Albion are interested in signing Lallana on a free transfer.

Leicester City had been frontrunners to sign the playmaker, but Sean Dyche and Graham Potter are both hopeful of beating the Foxes to his signature.

Both are willing to give him a long-term deal to keep him in the Premier League, though Brendan Rodgers’ side remain interested.

GIVEMESPORT’S Harry Sherlock says…

Lallana would be a great pick-up for most Premier League sides.

He’s an excellent attacking midfielder, capable of running between the lines and creating chances.

The former England international is valued at £8.5 million by Transfermarkt, and he has been an excellent creative force for the Reds.

He has made 178 appearances for the club in total, scoring 22 goals and registering 22 assists, and would walk into both Burnley and Brighton’s teams, as well as Leicester’s.

It may ultimately come down to where the playmaker wants to go; he certainly has his fair share of suitors.
