After two years of dominating Spanish football, Barcelona are back to being second best to Real Madrid.
Not only did Real Madrid beat Villarreal to seal the 2019/20 title on Thursday but Barcelona suffered a shocking 2-1 loss at home to Osasuna.
It summed up their entire La Liga campaign - simply not good enough.
It was Barca’s sixth league defeat of the season with them winning just 24 of their 37 matches.
They’re now seven points behind their El Clasico rivals and it left talisman Lionel Messi fuming at full-time.
"Roma, Liverpool... the fans are running out of patience because we're not giving them anything," Messi said.
"If we want to fight for the Champions League, a lot has to change. Like this, we will lose to Napoli.
“We didn’t want to end the season like this but it represents how the season has gone. We were a very erratic, very weak, low-intensity team…We lost a lot of points and today’s game is a summary of the season.
“We were inconsistent during the season. Real Madrid did their thing. We lost a lot of points. We have to do some self-criticism. We are Barça.”
The inquest will start immediately starting with manager Quique Setien.
But we’ve decided to do our own inquest and ranked every member of this underwhelming Barcelona squad from ‘GOAT’ to ‘should never play again.’

GOAT: Lionel Messi
23 goals and 20 assists in the league were all for nothing. You’ve got to feel sorry for him.
Starting XI: Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Gerard Pique, Frenkie de Jong
Alba (31), Busquets (32) and Gerard Pique (33) are all ageing and need to start being phased out. But it’s too much to do that over the course of one summer and they will still be regular starters next season. Ter Stegen and De Jong are guaranteed first-team regulars.
Squad Player: Luis Suarez, Ansu Fati, Ousmane Dembele, Riqui Puig, Nelson Semedo, Antoine Griezmann, Junior Firpo, Ivan Rakitic, Samuel Umtiti, Neto, Marc Cucurella, Charles Lenglet, Sergi Roberto
Suarez is 33 and past his best, while Griezmann is still struggling to kickstart his Barca career. While Dembele needs to overcome his injury problems to fulfil his potential. Youngsters Fati, Puig and Firpo have shown glimpses of their incredible talent and will be looking to play more regularly next season.
Potential: Carles Alena, Jean-Clair Todibo, Alex Collado, Inaki Pena Sotorres
La Masia hasn’t quite been the same in recent years but Barca do have a handful of exciting youngsters coming through.
Look to sell: Arturo Vidal, Moussa Wague, Oriol Busquets
Vidal is 33 now and Barca need to start shifting on their older players. Rafinha has spent the season on loan at Celta Vigo and probably isn’t good enough to be a Barca player. 21-year-old duo Wague and Busquets probably aren’t going to make the grade at the Camp Nou.
Should never play again: Martin Brathwaite, Philippe Coutinho
Brathwaite was signed as an emergency in February but the former Middlesborough striker isn’t Barcelona standard. We all know Coutinho has talent but it seems clear that he’s played his final match for the club.
