Leeds United are a Premier League team for the first time since 2004.It only seems right that one of England's biggest clubs is back where they belong and the long-awaited news was confirmed on Friday night after West Brom failed to win at Huddersfield.Slaven Bilic's side seem to be imploding at the business end of the season and Emile Smith Rowe's winner at the John Smith's Stadium was enough to spark delirium across Leeds.

Leeds earn promotion

Everyone is already excited to see what Leeds can do back in the Premier League, facing the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United twice a season after so long away.

And arguably the biggest component behind Leeds returning to the promised land has been the appointment of iconic manager Marcelo Bielsa.

From annoying Frank Lampard with 'spy-gate' to meticulously studying all of his opponents in endless spreadsheets, there's hardly been a quiet moment with 'El Loco' in charge.

Marcelo Bielsa's incredible influence

Ensuring that the Argentine stayed on for another season at Elland Road was massive in ensuring Leeds built on their success in spite of the play-off heartbreak last season.

However, no matter whether Bielsa decides to stay or go this summer, Leeds fans will remember him very differently to those who mock him for sending scouts to hide in bushes.

As was evidenced by Bielsa's decision to gift Aston Villa a goal in 2019, potentially costing them promotion in the process, there is an incredibly selfless and generous man behind the 'El Loco' moniker.

It's a fact that's reiterated by Bielsa's way of life and the 64-year-old is regularly spotted out and about in Leeds whether it be strolling in the countryside or shopping at the supermarket.

Bielsa celebrates with the fans

And that humble human being was on full display for everyone when he joined Leeds fans to celebrate their Premier League promotion on Friday night.

Bielsa came out on to his driveway after a number of fans gathered outside his house to celebrate promotion and his unassuming reaction made for the most wholesome thing you'll see all week.

Check out the viral clip down below:

Isn't that what football is all about?

It's brilliant to see Bielsa bumping forearms with the Leeds fans that have been cheering him on for the last two seasons and one can even be heard declaring: “You are God!”

The connection that Bielsa has built up with the supporters is nothing short of special and we're pretty sure everyone at the club will be hoping he leads them into the Premier League.

What a man. What a club. What a story.
