Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar might just be the most entertaining player in the world. In many respects, it's disappointing that the Brazilian hasn't gone on to become the Ballon d'Or-chasing icon that many expected him to be, but that hasn't been at the expense of his playing style. In other words, just because he hasn't been rubbing shoulders with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, it doesn't mean he's given football fans anything less in terms of entertainment.

Neymar: The entertainer

In fact, there's perhaps no better way to summarise Neymar's time at Paris Saint-Germain, which was meant to pave the way for him stepping out of Messi's shadow at Barcelona, than that.

Sure, his goal-scoring record at the Parc des Princes has still been extraordinary - 69 strikes in just 80 games, no less - but he was closer to becoming the world's number one in Catalonia.

What makes his time in France special, though, is the fact he can barely go a Ligue 1 game without producing an outrageous piece of skill that humiliates a defender and goes viral in tandem.

Neymar shines in PSG friendly

And although the 2019/20 season has been scrapped in France, PSG are ramping up their preparations for a return to Champions League action against Atalanta on August 12.

As far as Neymar is concerned, it seems to be a case of normal service resumed with the Brazilian turning on the style during PSG's two friendlies against Le Havre and Waasland-Beveren.

The latter, taking place on Friday night, saw Neymar turn provider for Mauro Icardi with an outrageous pass-penalty just 24 hours after Real Madrid botched the move against Villarreal.

Neymar's remarkable skills

You'd like to think that Neymar would have been so kind as to lay off the Belgian second division side at that point, but it wasn't the only time that he put on a show in the French capital.

That's because a clip of Neymar flaunting his skills during the game has gone viral, blowing the minds of fans to the tune of 8,000 retweets and over 20,000 'likes'. Pretty good then, huh?

You can check out the footage of Neymar taking the absolute mickey down below:

GIVEMESPORT's Kobe Tong says

I love Neymar. There, I said it. Sue me.

Neymar is an easy character to hate and it's easy to see why, playing just a fraction of the games he might otherwise have been available for since completing his world-record move to Paris.

Is he regularly injured? Yes. Does controversy follow him everywhere? Yes. Does he have a weird desire to never miss his sister's birthday? Yes. But is he darn entertaining? Oh, you bet.

So, you know what, the PSG boardroom might never be able to justify shelling out £196 million on his services, but football is an entertainment business first and foremost and they've had no lack of that.
