With the restart of UFC well underway, we're already being treated to some incredible fighting, some of which you could even call out of this world. The third match on the main card of this event saw Kyrgyzstani Rafael Fiziev take on Brit Marc Diakiese in a brutal two-way lightweight bout. Since arriving in the UFC back in April 2019, Fiziev has been a standout performer on each card he has fought on, winning a Performance of the Night award on his debut, despite losing the fight. For this event, he was no different. Both combatants put on a fantastic display of strikes, with Fiziev ultimately coming out on top through unanimous decision after three rounds.Along with some incredibly brutal body shots and jaw-dropping defensive work, Fiziev also pulled off one of the most insane dodges we've ever seen in the UFC.One minute into the third round, Diakiese went for a massive kick with his left leg. Usually, you'd expect Fiziev to either block the shot or take it, since the kick was thrown with quite some speed. However, Fiziev simply leaned back at the perfect time, sending the kick flying into empty space, and immediately followed up with a vicious kick to Diakiese's left thigh. It looks like something ripped from the Matrix, or straight out of a video game. The reflexes on display here are just unbelievable. Incredibly, this isn't the first time Fiziev has pulled off this move. MMA journalist José Youngs tweeted a gif mid-fight, showing Fiziev dodging an even more venomous looking kick a few years ago, somehow getting low enough to completely save himself from the strike.

Apparently, Fiziev spent years training in Muay Thai, racking up over 200 amateur fights becoming Kyrgyzstan Muay Thai champion three times, and he even won a silver medal in the World IFMA Muay Thai Championship.

Clearly, the dodge wasn't just down to lucky timing.

It's going to be really interesting to see how far Fiziev can get in the UFC; hopefully he'll be able to impress audiences with his crazy moves for years to come.
