Chelsea will play Arsenal in the FA Cup final on August 1 after beating Manchester United 3-1 at Wembley.Goals from Olivier Giroud, Mason Mount and an own-goal from Harry Maguire sealed the win for Frank Lampard's side, with Bruno Fernandes adding a late consolation from the penalty spot. The game also saw United defender Eric Bailly sadly taken to hospital after a sickening clash of heads with Maguire in the first-half.Bailly was one of a number of changes made by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the manager's faith in his squad players was not repaid one bit.Daniel James, Fred and Brandon Williams all struggled immensely, with Giroud and Mateo Kovacic the standout players for Chelsea. The Blues opened the scoring in the 11th-minute of first-half injury time. Cesar Azplicueta's cross was met by Giroud at the near post and David De Gea somehow let the ball squirm underneath him.

Chelsea increased their advantage barely two minutes after the restart.

Williams' poor pass found Mount in the middle of the pitch and the Blues midfielder's tame shot from range was too much for a diving De Gea.

Honestly, what has happened to the Spaniard? Lest we forget, the guy pockets around £375,000-a-week in wages at United.

The game was all but over half an hour later as Maguire turned the ball into his own net following a powerful low cross from Marcos Alonso.

Fernandes got United on the scoresheet in the 85th-minute from the penalty spot after Callum Hudson-Odoi fouled Anthony Martial, but the damage had already been done.

United fans will bemoan the fact their team had 48 hours less to prepare for the game, but the fact of the matter is there are still a number of weak links within the squad.

Chelsea were also simply way too good on the day and even the introductions of Paul Pogba, Martial and Mason Greenwood from the bench couldn't help Solskjaer's side.
