EA Sports UFC have just released the first official gameplay trailer for their new game 'EA Sports UFC 4' and it's safe to say the graphics are a thing of beauty.

The next instalment of the UFC gaming series is set for release on August 14 for PS4 & Xbox One. It has also been confirmed that it will be compatible for the next-gen consoles that may be released later this year.

The official gameplay trailer has shown gamers what will be different (and hopefully improved) for the new game.

EA have highlighted gameplay improvements, including takedown & clinch control being improved through real player motion technology (RPM Tech).

The trailer has shown even more realistic & high-quality graphics of fighters. Over 220 athletes will be available to gamers when the game is released.

On top of this, there are multiple new venues and arenas for fights to take place, including a unique backyard cage.

The Notorious Conor McGregor has been removed from the cover this time around, previously starring on both the UFC 2 & 3 cover. Since his third retirement, the Irishman has made way for welterweight superstar Jorge Masvidal & New Zealand middleweight Israel Adesanya to share the cover.

Fans have already had a taste of what’s to come in the new mixed martial arts game. The official trailer was released at the beginning of July, a month before the release.

Adjustments have been made from the previous game, with the Ultimate Team mode being removed. However, an added mode to create a fighter will give gamers the chance to design a unique character to use in the Octagon against other gamers.

An added little bonus for gamers pre-ordering is that players can select to fight in the Octagon as either Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury. Both fighters will cross over to mixed martial arts and will be part of the heavyweight division.

UFC president Dana White has expressed his praises for the game, stating: “EA Sports UFC 4 is the best fighting game ever made."
