Naby Keita has opened the scoring for Liverpool against Chelsea in spectacular fashion. All eyes were on the Reds as their final game at Anfield this season played host to the Premier League trophy ceremony, which had been prepared for with a unique podium in the Kop.Jurgen Klopp's men won the title just two games into the restart when Manchester City came unstuck at Stamford Bridge, so their moment with the silverware had been long overdue.

Liverpool vs Chelsea

But Chelsea were arriving on Merseyside to make sure the game wasn't merely a Liverpudlian precession, especially as they look to tighten their grip on Champions League qualification.

And the Blues had some of the better chances in the early exchanges with Mason Mount heading over from close range and Reece James causing real problems down the right flank.

Chelsea were even fortunate to avoid conceding a penalty when Mohamed Salah being bodychecked in the penalty area divided social media down the middle.

WATCH: Keita's incredible strike

However, the champions eventually rose to the occasion in spectacular fashion as Naby Keita, who has tested Kopites' patience this season, popped up with a rare goal.

One year on from Salah's screamer in the very same fixture, Keita smashed home his own screamer past the reach of Kepa Arrizabalaga and off the crossbar.

There was absolutely no chance the Chelsea 'keeper was getting anywhere near Ketia's strike and there couldn't have been a more dramatic way to get the party in Liverpool started.

Check out the incredible strike in all its glory down below:

Alexander-Arnold tops things off

However, Liverpool's penchant for stunning goals against Chelsea wasn't finished there...

Trent Alexander-Arnold scored his second free-kick since the re-start in almost identical fashion to his Crystal Palace strike, finding the top right-hand corner and leaving Arrizabalaga statuesque.

It will be an all-too familiar feeling for the Spaniard after conceding a free-kick to the right-back at the start of the season, but you can check out his latest worldie down below:

Put the champagne on ice. Roll out the red carpet. The champions are doing it in style.

Such a scintillating start to the game will come as a pleasant surprise to Kopites, who have been somewhat nonplussed by their side falling so far short of Manchester City's points record.

Drawing with Everton and Burnley as well as losing to Arsenal and the Citizens themselves had somewhat tempered the title-winning atmosphere, but that has returned in spades tonight.

Jordan Henderson won't just be shuffling with the Premier League trophy, he'll be striding to three points and sweet, sweet revenge.
