Liverpool have finally got their hands on the Premier League trophy. It seems as though the Reds have been made to wait an eternity for the coveted silverware they won in record time, ending their 30-year drought under the watchful eye of Jurgen Klopp. The COVID-19 pandemic threatened to curtal a season that had long been theirs, only for them to finally wrap up the title two games into 'Project Restart', but still needing to wait an entire month before collecting their medals.

Liverpool 5-3 Chelsea

However, it was in typical Liverpool fashion that they approached the trophy ceremony, emerging 5-3 victors over Chelsea in a thrilling game that saw them race into a 4-1 lead.

But let's be honest here, Liverpool could have lost 10-0 on the night and they still would have partied the night away with proceedings truly ramping up after the full-time whistle.

Club staff had worked incredibly hard to produce a podium in the Kop, blanketed in banners and equipped with stunning lighting, in order to create the best possible atmosphere at Anfield.

Incredible atmosphere at Anfield

There might not have been the 50,000 Liverpool fans to see the moment live in attendance, but there wasn't a single Kopite who wasn't a emotional when Jordan Henderson lifted the trophy.

And it seems as though the Liverpool players went out of their way to ensure that the supporters felt as though they were a part of the celebrations, taking to social media with live videos.

First came Sadio Mane with an Instagram live in the dressing room as the players prepared for their crowning moment, before Georginio Wijnaldum inherited responsibility on the podium itself.

GIVEMESPORT's Kobe Tong says

I'm sorry, but you're heartless if you don't feel the special bond amongst this Liverpool squad.

You only need to look at the videos summing up Liverpool's illustrious history in the weeks since their title triumph to feel just what winning the Premier League means to this club, city and group of players.

You've got to take your hat off to one of the greatest teams that modern English football has witnessed and to raise such an incredible atmosphere without their fans is a credit to them.
