Jordan Henderson is so successful as captain of Liverpool that he’s invented his very own trophy lift.It was first seen last June in Madrid as the Liverpool skipper produced a ‘shuffle’ as he lifted the club’s sixth European Cup following their 2-0 victory over Spurs. We saw it again in August when Liverpool beat Chelsea on penalties to clinch the Super Cup.He was performing it again in December as the Reds became champions of the world by winning the Club World Cup in Qatar. And on Wednesday night, despite a serious knee injury, he did it once again. This time, with the Premier League trophy. The Hendo shuffle will go down in Liverpool history.

It must have been a frustrating night for the Liverpool captain, watching on from the stands as his side beat Chelsea 5-3.

He would have loved nothing more than being out there.

But sitting in the stands allowed him to practise one thing - his trophy kiss.

In the 94th-minute and just minutes away from his latest shuffle, footage showed Henderson practising kissing the trophy before he burst out laughing.

He probably doesn't need any practise these days…

After lifting the Premier League trophy aloft standing on that podium on the Kop, Henderson admitted that it was an “amazing” feeling.

“We’ve been waiting a long time, like I said before the game,” Henderson said.

“The build-up to it, walking up there was amazing. Like I said, the lads deserved the moment tonight. The families were up there watching, which was a big thing for us as a team. It’s been an amazing season and to crown it off like that was really special.”

When will Hendo’s next produce his shuffle? During next month’s Community Shield, perhaps?
