Last night's game between Liverpool and Chelsea was chaotically brilliant. All the talk beforehand was focused on the Reds lifting the trophy at Anfield, but there were fireworks on the pitch prior to the celebrations as Liverpool beat the Blues 5-3 in an absolute thriller.Goals from Naby Keita, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Gini Wijnaldum, Roberto Firmino and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sealed the Reds' 18th home win of the 2019/20 season.Chelsea played their part too, with Olivier Giroud, Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic all finding the back of the net for Frank Lampard's side. There were a number of standout performers on both sides, but it was Keita who really took centre stage for much of the evening on Merseyside.Keita celebrates his goalThe Guinean midfielder has flattered to deceive at times since his arrival from RB Leipzig and has also been hindered by a number of injuries. But his highlights from last night are the clearest evidence yet that Keita is finally there in the famous red shirt and he looks ready to take the Premier League by storm in 2020/21.

So, so good. Keita was everything Liverpool require from a central midfielder last night against Chelsea.

Crisp passing, inventive on the ball, tenacious in the tackle and a goal threat - a truly complete performance.

His strike to open the scoring is also something we hadn't seen from Keita on English shores but it was a regular feature of his play in the Bundesliga.

He's a player with an awesome right-foot and when he's brimming with confidence, the 25-year-old is the goal scorer from midfield that Jurgen Klopp's team have been crying out for.

In his two seasons with Leipzig in 2016/17 and 2017/18, Keita scored 14 goals and assisted a further 13 in 58 Bundesliga appearances.

If he can replicate those numbers in the Premier League, Klopp's already amazing Liverpool team will be even better and that, ladies and gentlemen, is a terrifying prospect.
