Carlos Tevez's Manchester City career could be over with Inter Milan ready to bid £40 million for the striker this summer, report talkSPORT.

The Argentine striker has been dogged with speculation over his future despite withdrawing a transfer request earlier this season.

With Tevez now out of action, perhaps until the end of the season, with a hamstring injury City and fans alike fear they may have seen the last of the 27-year-old.


Inter owner Massimo Moratti is prepare to offer City £40 million for Tevez with a player exchange even a possibility.

City have been linked with a swap deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with Edin Dzeko going in the opposite direction and Roberto Mancini may need to find another replacement for one of his forward if Tevez does indeed depart.

Javier Pastore and Hulk have both been linked with a move to the club, and with City's resources it's likely they'll be plenty move transfer action around the club.
