Dolph Ziggler is currently well within the WWE Championship picture.
The Show-Off is battling with his former tag team partner Drew McIntyre for the belt, and the two went head-to-head at Extreme Rules.
Dolph lost that match, somewhat unsurprisingly, but the two will square off again on Monday Night RAW, this time in a non-title match.
There is every chance there will be another title match at SummerSlam, as Ziggler seeks to win the one belt that has eluded him throughout his career thus far.
Indeed, while he is a two-time world champion, both of those reigns came with the World Heavyweight Championship.
He has never been able to claim himself as WWE Champion, despite spending 16 years in the promotion.
Speaking to Bleacher Report, though, he claims that he will never stop striving to claim that belt and mark himself out as an all-time great.
If that means beating McIntyre, then so be it.
He said: "I know how good I am, I know the position I should be in.
"But I also think, 'How can I make this business better when I leave it than when I got here?' I have that integrity part to it and no matter the situation or how mad I am.
"Everybody should be mad they're not the champion and fighting to make that happen every day. It's just not going to happen, but if you don't have that mindset, then you shouldn't even be here."
He’s absolutely nailed it, in all fairness, and one has to think that this is the exact reason Ziggler keeps being semi-pushed as a potential champion.
He has the ability to put on classic matches with pretty much any opponent WWE matches him with and he is also a legitimate contender to take the belt and run with it.
It has been seven years since he cashed in his Money In The Bank contract to beat Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship on RAW, though.
Time, one feels, is against him if he is to become a world champion once again.
