What an incredible signing Mohamed Salah has been for Liverpool. When the Reds spent £34 million on the Egyptian back in the summer of 2017, there were a few raised eyebrows. After all, he failed to impress in his previous spell in the Premier League at Chelsea. But Liverpool’s recruitment team had been watching the winger for a while during his spell in Italy and knew exactly what they were getting for their money.Well, we say they knew what they were getting but not even they could have predicted Salah would go on to score 44 goals in all competitions during his debut campaign at Anfield.p1eedtlqcu130c1ff16sm2n317sh.jpgSalah broke all sorts of records as he claimed the Golden Boot with his 32 Premier League strikes. One of the greatest individual campaigns the Premier League has ever seen.Unfortunately, it ended without a trophy as Liverpool lost in the Champions League final with Sergio Ramos ensuring Salah didn’t last long in the match.Despite claims of him being a one-season wonder, Salah followed that incredible season up with another 22 league goals during the 2018/19 campaign which saw him share the Golden Boot, while he also scored the opener in the Champions League final as Jurgen Klopp’s side went one better than 12 months previously.p1eedtookh1bsb1edpqe85et1rb1k.jpgAnd he made it three very impressive seasons with another 23 goals in all competitions during 2019/20, helping his side win the title with ease.152 appearances, 94 goals and a champion of England, Europe and the world. Not a bad three years. But when Liverpool fans next see Salah, they might not recognise him. That’s because he’s got rid of his iconic afro and gone for a more fashionable trim with it shaved on the sides.Check it out:

We reckon it looks pretty good!

It’s been a pretty tough week for Salah with him losing his best friend at the club in Dejan Lovren.

Lovren left Merseyside for Zenit St Petersburg and even manager Klopp acknowledged Salah had lost his “bezzie.”

“Yesterday we said, ‘Who is now the best friend of Mo?’ because they were really real, real bezzies. They were really close and that’s the thing, we will miss him.”

It seems he’s decided to get over his loss but changing his style.
