Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates Juventus winning Serie A by purchasing new £5.5m yacht

When you’re as rich as Cristiano Ronaldo, it must be difficult to think of new and innovative ways to spend your money.

The Juventus and Portugal star has a net worth of around £361 million, according to, which is staggering by anyone’s standards.

Okay, so it’s not quite the level of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, whose net worth is a ludicrous $113 billion, but it’s still enough to ensure that everyone he loves is financially secure for life.

After winning another Serie A title with Juve last weekend, Ronaldo thought he’d treat himself to a rather extravagant gift.

It’s a gift that Cristiano and his family have thoroughly enjoyed using over recent days if various social media posts are anything to go by.

Per the Daily Mail, Ronaldo celebrated winning the league by forking out a cool £5.5 million on a new luxury yacht.

The 35-year-old reportedly handpicked the 27-metre vessel himself after falling in love with it at the Azimut-Benetti shipyards in Viareggi.

But what does a £5.5 million yacht actually look like from the inside?

It features five cabins, six bedrooms, a large lounge, a contemporary kitchen, two relaxation areas and ‘full-height windows offering breathtaking panoramic views of the sea’.

Ronaldo’s family have been celebrating Juve’s latest Scudetto triumph onboard the yacht.

This photo shows Ronaldo with his girlfriend Georgina and his four children Cristiano Ronaldo Jr (10), Mateo (3), Alana Martina (20 and Eva Maria (3).

How the other half live, eh?

This photo shows there’s ample room for the kids to get some sleep…

And when it’s time to get some sun, they can head out and take a dip in the waters of the Celle Ligure coast.

Ronaldo deserves to treat himself after what has been another outstanding season.

Despite his advancing years, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is showing no signs of slowing down.

Ronaldo netted 31 goals in 33 Serie A fixtures for Juve this season. He also scored an additional two goals in all competitions.

And it’s safe to assume that even though he’s on his holidays, Ronaldo will be doing everything in his power to keep himself in peak physical condition ready for the 2020-21 campaign.
