According to RTP, per Sport Witness, Wolves striker Raul Jimenez is said to be 'on his way' to United this summer.Benfica striker Paulinho is being touted as the Mexican's replacement at Molineux, with the Portuguese media reporting that a €30m deal is close to completion.
That would free up Jimenez to join United and journalist Miguel Delaney has confirmed that the Red Devils' interest in the striker has 'escalated'.
Jimenez has established himself as one of the best strikers in the Premier League in recent years, scoring 17 goals and assisting six more in 2019/20.

United need someone like Jimenez, a physical presence and a potent force in the air, not to mention a player with a reputation for scoring match-winning goals.
If the Red Devils have ambitions of making it far in the Champions League and challenging for the Premier League title, they need a striker capable befitting of the cliche 'Plan B'.
Jose Mourinho had Marouane Fellaini to fit that description, so why shouldn't Solskjaer go one better and have Jimenez?
