This season, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has proved that age is just a number.
In January, he returned to AC Milan at 38-years-old, signing a six-month contract to the end of the campaign.
Not much was expected from the Swedish striker, who arrived in Serie A from LA Galaxy.
Past his best, some said. Ready to retire, others claimed.
But Zlatan has netted 10 goals and provided 5 assists in 19 appearances, becoming the focal point of Milan's attack as they secured Europa League qualification with a fixture to spare.
He's impressed so much, that the club are now set to extend his deal far beyond this summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, per The Sun, Milan are ready to DOUBLE Ibrahimovic's salary and offer him a two-year deal.
If certain appearance and performance-related targets are met, the contract could see him earn up to £104,000-a-week until he's 40-years-old.
Imagine being so good that your club offers to double your salary at the age of 38. Only Zlatan.
But he's certainly earning that money and in fact, has offers from elsewhere in Europe should he want to move.
The Sun reports that Premier League new boys Leeds are interested in signing the Swedish star, should he fancy a return to England's top flight.
But considering Milan look prepared to offer him everything he wants and more, there's no reason he'd push for a move away from the San Siro now.
Of the 17 Serie A games Ibrahimovic has featured in, the Rossoneri have won 10, drawn five and lost just two.
That's quite a ridiculous record when you think about it. Just imagine how well Milan could have done if Zlatan was present for the entire campaign.
Watch out Serie A, Ibrahimovic might just have awoken one of Europe's sleeping giants. Next season should certainly be fun...
