Leeds United are loving every minute of the summer break.

After 16 long years outside of the Premier League, the Whites are putting plans in place to take the top flight by storm next term.

Winning the Sky Bet Championship by 10 points was a sign of real dominance in the second tier, and that means that they'll be even more confident of causing some problems among the elite clubs next term.

Marcelo Bielsa's brand of football has been nothing short of mesmerising to watch, and while it'll be tricky to hold such dominance over clubs in the top flight, you just know that the principled head coach will give it a good go.

The Argentine has an incredibly strong bond with his current first team squad, but that will be pushed to one side as he looks to bring in reinforcements to help them to make the huge step up to the top tier.

Thankfully for Leeds and the Championship's second place club West Brom, they have a head start on putting plans in place.

The same can't be said for Fulham and Brentford who must wait until next week to find out what league they're going to be in.

Both clubs have showed why they're deserving of a spot in the top flight, but the club that misses out it'll be heartbreak.

If Thomas Frank's side are handed that lemon then it could be particularly bitter, with Leeds United said to be circling around their star man.

Said Benrahma has been attracting the interest of clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea this term, but according to The Athletic, it's Bielsa's side that could be leading the charge.

While it's accepted that Brentford's promotion would all-but end any interest, it's claimed that Leeds are 'confident' of striking a deal for the Algerian forward.

Not only that, but the Whites could be able to sign the 24-year-old for less than £20million.

Should the Bees secure promotion, it's claimed that Queens Park Rangers man Eberechi Eze would be the alternative, however a move for Benrahma would be seen as the priority.

GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...

What a move this would be.

Dubbed 'the Algerian Messi', Said Benrahma is a player who looks destined to be playing in the Premier League next term, regardless of what happens in the Play-off Final.

The Algerian has been unstoppable for Brentford this season after scoring 17 goals and creating eight for the Bees.

That sort of form deserves an opportunity to shine in the top flight, and it will come.

Leeds United need a new attacking outlet, and should the 24-year-old be available, it would be a no-brainer to move for him.

That means that Tuesday's play-off final against Fulham now has even greater stakes for Thomas Frank's side, as they know that Victor Orta will be straight on the phone on Wednesday morning if their night at Wembley doesn't go to plan.
