The FA Cup final will be a day that Arsenal supporters will savour for a long time.
After enduring a campaign that's been fraught with highs, lows and everything in between, fans were treated to a memorable day that made the rest pale into insignificance.
There's a long road ahead for the North London side as they look to close the gap on the top four and beyond, but victory over Chelsea at Wembley showed that they're very much on the right track.
Mikel Arteta has really shaken things up since making the move from Manchester City and it seems that he's already made some big decisions over which players will feature in his plans, and which won't.
While some players will be ushered to the exit door, others will be begged and pleaded with in an effort to keep them at the Emirates Stadium for their next chapter.
Numerous stars fall into that category, but none more than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international is the club's talisman at present, with his goals and enthusiasm for the game doing a great job of connecting supporters with the team.
His 29 goals this term have done wonders for sparing the club's blushes during a particularly low period in their history, but the hope is that he'll be around for longer to help them move forward.
But despite qualifying for the Europa League through their FA Cup exploits, it seems that the man who inspired them to victory could be targeted by those higher up the food chain.
Speaking to Stadium Astro, as quoted by the Daily Express, former defender Glen Johnson said: "I think he'll want Champions League football.
"I think there's two different equations - if you're Arsenal Football Club you have to do anything possible to keep hold of him.
"As Aubameyang, he's 31, and Arsenal aren't winning the league in the next four years. That's a fact, they're miles away from it.
"So in four years' time, Aubameyang is not going to be the same player.
"For him personally, if he wants to win trophies - it sounds silly after them winning the FA Cup of course, but trophies like the league or playing in the Champions League then of course he needs to move on.
"But he seems to enjoy his football there, and these strikers are hard to come by.
"If you want to go and buy a striker now that's going to get you 20 goals a season, you're talking £100million.
"Arsenal have that player so as a club they need to do all they can to keep him.
"Liverpool would take him, City would take him, United would take him - everyone would take him.
"For him personally he might look elsewhere but he does seem to enjoy the lads and he does seem to enjoy Arsenal Football Club so maybe he will stay."

While Glen Johnson has a point about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being of interest to clubs in the Champions League, I can't see him moving to any club in the Premier League.
While the striker is undoubtedly a reliable source of goals, Liverpool, Manchester City and Man United have their own goal threats and so would be unlikely to make such a move.
However that doesn't mean he won't attract interest from outside of England.
Mikel Arteta has claimed that he wants to build his team around the 31-year-old, however it remains to be seen whether that will happen.
Arsenal fans would love nothing more, but with just one year left on his contract it may be the case that the Gunners need to cash in while they can.
