Arsenal fans are hopeful that their FA Cup triumph will convince Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to stay at the club. The Gabon striker was the hero against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium, scoring both goals as the Gunners turned around a 1-0 deficit to win the tournament for the 14th time in their history. It was a reminder that Arsenal must do whatever it takes to keep hold of Aubameyang. He’s their best player and is crucial to their hopes of more success under Mikel Arteta.Indeed, Arteta admitted after the win over the Chelsea that he wants to build his team around the 31-year-old.“He knows what I think about him," Arteta said, per Goal. "I want to build the squad around him.“I think he wants to stay and it is just about getting the deal done.”p1eeno0f0cqvt1n0715g71dqe1o5u9.jpgArsenal will be able to offer Aubameyang European football next season but it won’t be the Champions League. And while the north London side will probably meet any financial demands that the former Borussia Dortmund star has, he’s apparently looking for more signs of ambition from the club.French outlet le10sport are reporting that Aubemayang wants heavy recruitment this summer, and even dreams of seeing Arsenal sign Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona. Here's a glimpse of what they can do together.

Aubameyang played with Dembele at Dortmund and wants to reunite with him in the Premier League.

Dembele, whose is valued at £50.4 million according to Transfermarkt, hasn’t reached the heights expected of him at Barcelona, largely due to his wretched injury record.

But it was reported by Sport on Friday that the Blaugrana are now ready to listen to offers for the French winger, so perhaps there is an opportunity there for Arsenal.

Aubameyang has earned the right to make some demands, but it’s hard to imagine Arteta acquiescing if he doesn’t feel like Dembele would improve his squad.

We’ll see how this develops but it seems that money and an FA Cup trophy isn’t everything that the Arsenal striker desires.

le10sport’s report also names the players on Arsenal’s shortlist.

They are Philippe Coutinho, Moussa Dembele, Allan Saint-Maximin, Raul Jimenez, Thomas Partey and Memphis Depay.
