Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been on fire during 2020.

Since the turn of the year, the Portuguese forward has scored 21 goals in Serie A, more than any other player in Europe's top five leagues.

Amazingly, the 35-year-old has averaged a goal in the Italian top-flight every 81 minutes in 2020, an astonishing record for a player some say is in 'decline'.

But Ronaldo's minutes-per-goal record is not the best across Europe's top five leagues this year. In fact, the Portuguese only ranks third in that department.

Below, we've provided the 25 players with the best minutes-per-goal records in 2020 after Serie A's conclusion last night, with players from the Italian top-flight making up the entirety of the top three.

Muriel's record in 2020 has been nothing short of remarkable. The Colombian striker is one of four Atalanta players in the top 25, alongside Ilicic, Malinovskyi and Zapata.

Serie A is by far the most represented league in the top 25 with 10 players included, followed by the Premier League (5), Bundesliga (4), Ligue 1 (4) and La Liga (2).

The one notable absentee from the top 25 is Lionel Messi, with the Barcelona superstar averaging a goal every 150 minutes in La Liga this year.
