Chris Jericho took a big risk when he left WWE for AEW, but boy did that decision pay off.

The promotion has become a direct competition to Vince McMahon and the weekly rating war has installed a sense of nostalgia for many fans.

Jericho, along with Cody Rhodes, Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks have been key in AEW's success.

Y2J became their inaugural world champion last year and hasn't looked back, much like the rest of the company.

The future is looking bright, especially with recent acquisitions including Brodie Lee, FTR, Matt Hardy and Matt Cardona.

It seems Jericho has his eye on more big signings too and has named six stars he wants to see in AEW one day - and he picked a number of WWE's top guys.

"Now we just have to get Cesaro in AEW and then we'll really stir it up," he said during his weekly Saturday Night Special video on YouTube.

Jericho wants to see Cesaro in AEW

"I think Cesaro in AEW would be one of our top guys."

Jericho then went on to brainstorm more names he'd like to bring in if he was allowed limitless picks.

"Roman Reigns, Will Ospreay, Ricochet, [Kota] Ibushi, and Don Callis. I would love to have Ricochet in AEW. I'd work with him in a second," he said.

Y2J also wants to see Reigns leave WWE

GIVEMESPORT's Ollie Browning says:

There are a few massive names in there. While it's unlikely Reigns will ever leave WWE, there's no reason we won't see any of the others in AEW.

Should Richochet not get his deserved push, I can certainly see him jumping ship and moving to a promotion that knows his worth.

Ricochet could move to AEW if Jericho gets his way

It would take a lot to bring Ospreay and Ibushi over from NJPW but never say never in wrestling.

Just imagine the dream matches.
