Manchester United’s move for Borussia Dortmund and England star Jadon Sancho is now at an ‘advanced stage’.
That’s according to The Guardian’s Fabrizio Romano, who reported the breakthrough on Monday afternoon.
Romano wrote on Twitter: “Manchester United negotiations with BVB for #Sancho are now in ‘advanced stage’.
“Man Utd always wanted to pay him using ‘add ons’ and ‘instalments’ after virus.”
Romano says that Sancho, who wants to join the Red Devils, is now waiting to see if the two clubs will reach an agreement.
In a report by Romano and Ed Aarons on The Guardian’s website, it’s said that Man United will pay an initial £90 million (€100m) fee for the 20-year-old.
A further €20m could be paid in performance-related add-ons.
