Liverpool are Premier League champions.
One has to imagine that such a sentence hasn’t really sunk in yet for Reds fans.
But the fact is that the hard work really begins now as they attempt to strengthen one of the best teams Liverpool have ever had.
After all, they lost just three games in the top-flight and ended the season on 99 points, 18 points ahead of second-placed Manchester City.
This was a stunning season for Jurgen Klopp’s men, who also conceded just 33 goals throughout the term.
Nevertheless, the Reds are said to be keen to secure new signings in this transfer window, with Klopp hopeful of securing cover for Andrew Robertson.
The Daily Mirror reports that they are interested in acquiring a rising star who dropped through the Premier League trapdoor this term.
And it would follow in the footsteps of the signing of their current first-choice left-back; Robertson was signed from Hull City after they were relegated.
Indeed, the piece claims that Jamal Lewis has been identified as a target in the summer transfer window.
They are ready to table an offer of £10 million for the Norwich full-back, who is just 22.
Lewis is said to be keen to play first-team football, having made 32 appearances throughout the campaign, but he could be tempted by the opportunity to play under Klopp at Anfield.
Liverpool are keen to recruit a new full-back this summer and have also watched Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly, another player who was relegated this term.

The Reds have had plenty of success when it comes to buying players from relegated clubs.
They spent an initial£8m on Robertson, and also secured Georginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle United after they dropped through the trapdoor, while also signing Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City.
Both Robertson and Wijnaldum have become genuinely key players, while Shaqiri is a useful squad option.
Lewis could well follow in the footsteps of the first two but even if he is similar to the Switzerland international, he will fill a squad spot.
Add in that he is homegrown and a player who can only improve and Liverpool are onto a winner.
