Brazilian wonderkid on verge of United move

Manchester United are close to adding to their Brazilian ranks with Adryan on the verge of joining the club.

The Tennager, currently with Flamengo, caught the eye after his showing at the South American Under-17 Championships and is also being followed by Juventus.

Sir Alex Ferguson will be hoping that United current contingent of Brazilian players can help convince Adryan that his future lies in England.


United currently have a partnership with football rights agency Traffic and after a host of Brazilian players came over trials at the club, a link that may prove crucial in luring Adryan.

The 16-year-old would move to United, if a deal was completed, once he turns 18 next summer.

The club are expected to make several signings this summer, with the likes of Ashley Young and Javier Pastore linked with the club as Ferguson looks to build yet another squad as he nears the twilight of his Old Trafford career.
