Juventus have appointed Andrea Pirlo as their new manager.
The decision was announced today after the Serie A champions were eliminated from the Champions League by Lyon on Friday evening.
As a consequence of that result, Maurizio Sarri was relieved of his duties after what's been a sub-par 2019/20 season for the Old Lady.
Without the goals of Cristiano Ronaldo, Sarri's side would all but certainly have fallen short in the Serie A title race, with Inter Milan finishing just one-point behind the Bianconeri.
Pirlo now has a serious task on his hands to try and turn an ageing squad into Champions League contenders in 2020/21.

Where on earth would Juventus be without Ronaldo?! The Portuguese scored 31 goals in Serie A alone and the 35-year-old deserves better.
World-class
Paulo Dybala, Wojciech Szczesny, Giorgio Chiellini
Dybala is comfortably one of the finest players on the planet, while you'll be hard pushed to find many better 'keepers than Szczesny.
Chiellini is getting on a bit now and suffered a serious knee injury in 2019/20, but there's no denying the Italian colossus is still one of the finest defenders around when fully fit.
Worth keeping
Matthijs de Ligt, Gianluigi Buffon, Aaron Ramsey, Blaise Matuidi, Leonardo Bonucci, Alex Sandro
De Ligt's first season has been far from plain sailing, but the Dutchman has shown glimpses of his enormous talent in Turin and the best is yet to come from the former Ajax man.
Ramsey was criminally underused by Sarri, while Matuidi's all-action style will be a useful tool for Pirlo next season.
Bonucci and Sandro have had far from their best seasons in 2019/20, but they still did enough to prove they have futures at the club. As for Buffon, you couldn't really ask for more in a backup 'keeper, could you?
Has potential
Rodrigo Bentancur, Merih Demiral, Federico Bernadeschi
Bentancur isn't quite good enough to be a first-team regular at Juve yet. However, the talent is there and the Uruguayan is a player worth persevering with for the foreseeable future.
Bernadeschi has - rightly - received criticism at times for poor performances, but the skilful Italian forward has the potential to be a superstar at Juve.
Demiral is widely regarded as one of the best young defenders on the planet and the Bianconeri will be eager to hand him more opportunities in the starting XI next season.
Not good enough
Douglas Costa, Juan Cuadrado, Adrien Rabiot, Marko Pjaca
Cuadrado's stint at right-back in 2019/20 hasn't been the worst, but there's no way the Colombian can occupy the position going into the new season if Juve want to win the Champions League.
Costa's form has fallen off of a cliff, while the signing of Rabiot on a free from Paris Saint-Germain just hasn't worked out.
Pjaca is now 25 and it's abundantly clear he's never going to make the grade at Juve, so it's best for both parties if their relationship is brought to an end.
Get rid ASAP
Sami Khedira, Daniele Rugani, Danilo, Gonzalo Higuain, Mattia De Sciglio
Both Khedira and Higuain should consider seeing out the remaining years of their careers away from Europe, because they simply are not good enough to play for a top team anymore.
Rugani is never going to be at the level required to don the famous black and white shirt, while the signing of Danilo has been a bit of a disaster.
Selling Joao Cancelo to Manchester City and acquiring the Brazilian seemed a strange deal at the time and it really hasn't paid off.
The less said about De Sciglio, the better. Why the Italian has been linked with Barcelona in recent times is a complete mystery.
All in all, this Juve squad is going to require some serious attention over the summer.
The arrivals of Arthur Melo and Dejan Kulusevski will add some much-needed youth and exuberance, but further reinforcements are a must.
A top striker to replace Higuain and support Ronaldo should be the Bianconeri's number one priority and they have already been linked with a move for Arsenal's Alexandre Lacazette.
Signing a decent right-back wouldn't be a bad idea either...
