Unfortunately for them, it hasn't been for the right reasons.

The decision for Amanda Staveley and the Saudi-backed consortium's decision to withdraw their interest in purchasing the club for £300million certainly hit the region hard, with many still calling for answers as to why the process fizzled out in such a way.
But while the takeover saga is bound to rumble on, the club must focus on matter more within their control.
The new Premier League season is just over five weeks and that means that efforts must be doubled to be ready for the big kick-off.
While Newcastle achieved survival relatively comfortably, supporters are hoping that the club can start to move themselves up the table and target a potential spot in Europe.

Described by Eddie Howe as 'a top player', the striker is said to be available following Bournemouth's relegation from the Premier League.
Valued at £18million, Wilson is likely to be in demand with clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham linked with a move.
It's claimed that the Magpies are prioritising British players this summer, and with goals at a premium last term it seems that a striker is fairly near the top of the priority list.

Callum Wilson is just what the doctor ordered at St James' Park.
A proven goalscorer, the Bournemouth man would undoubtedly bolster Steve Bruce's attack if he was to arrive at the club this summer.
As well as his obvious goal threat, the striker's relentless work ethic off the ball and pace when running off the shoulder of defenders is exactly what fans want to see in Newcastle and so it's difficult to see him not being a hit.
Of course the finances over the deal could be tricky considering the Magpies' current restraints, but there's no doubt that it's a deal that's worth doing.
Perhaps there's a player who could go the other way and help the Cherries to make an immediate return to the top flight.
