Robert Lewandowski has been on fire this season.
He's netted a ridiculous 53 goals in 44 games this season and continued his fine form with a brace against Chelsea on Saturday night.
Bayern Munich won the second leg 4-1, adding to their 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge back in March.
As you can probably guess, Lewandowski was on the scoresheet that evening too - in fact - he has 13 goals in seven Champions League appearances.
The Ballon d'Or won't be handed out this year due to the coronavirus pandemic and there's an argument to suggest the Polish striker has been robbed of football's biggest individual prize.
But, it could have all been so different because back in 2010, he was on the brink of joining Blackburn Rovers.
Yes, really. Before Lewandowski made a name for himself at Borussia Dortmund, he nearly completed a switch to England.
Blackburn's manager at the time was Sam Allardyce and he explained to talkSPORT how the transfer nearly came about.
"I went with my chief scout Martyn Glover and it was quite a trip," he said.
"We were very impressed with the player, the chairman did a deal for about €8 million with the club and he was due to fly over.
"The ash cloud started in Iceland and all flights got cancelled, so he couldn't get on the flight."
With travel in chaos for the next few days, Lewandowski never made it to England, much to the disappointment of Allardyce.
"We were waiting for him at Manchester airport and then a week or two later he signed for Borussia Dortmund."
The rest, as they say, is history. Lewandowski has gone on to smash records at Bayern Munich.
If you didn't believe Big Sam, even the man himself has confirmed the rumours.
"I had the opportunity to join Blackburn, but I wanted to see how Blackburn looked, the training ground, the place I met with Sam Allardyce," he told The Times per TeamTalk.
"I think it would have been fine if I had gone to Blackburn, but I would have liked to go and see the training centre, the stadium.
"I couldn't go because of the cloud. It was the volcano. The volcano with the ash cloud.
"It was one week and nobody could fly in Europe. The flight was booked, but we couldn't leave. It changed my life. If I had gone to Blackburn maybe I would have stayed there."
