Anthony Martial has been on fire since football's restart back in June. The Manchester United striker has scored seven goals in his last 13 appearances in all competitions, but the Frenchman has been far more than just a goalscorer.Martial's ability to beat defenders is such an asset for United and against FC Copenhagen in the Europa League last night, the former AS Monaco striker was simply unplayable. The 24-year-old failed to score - mainly due to a superhuman performance from goalkeeper Karl-Johan Johnsson - but he was comfortably the best player on the pitch.Time and time again, Martial put Copenhagen's defence to the sword with his outstanding dribbling ability and electric pace, winning the penalty in extra-time that sealed a 1-0 victory for United.Martial in actionThanks to @BNSComps, you can watch the Frenchman's individual highlights from the game and they're so, so good.

United have finally found the number nine they have been crying out for in recent times.

After the game, United legend Robin van Persie said in the BT Sport studio, per Daily Mail: "Martial always has an eye for his team-mates and that's what sets him apart from the others.

"That's why I think he's a world class player."

Another former Red Devils player, Owen Hargreaves, also waxed lyrical about Martial's performance: "Everyone's got an opinion on Martial. He's a Ferrari. He just looked like a £100m player."

Martial on the ball

Even if a £100m bid were to come in this summer, there's absolutely no chance that United would accept.

The 2019/20 season has been Martial's best in the famous red shirt. In his 46 appearances in all competitions, he's scored 23 goals and setup his teammates on six occasions.

After years of lacking consistency, the Frenchman finally looks the real deal and the addition of Bruno Fernandes has given Martial the perfect platform to thrive.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer deserves enormous credit for turning his career around after he was shunned by Jose Mourinho and the scary thing is, the 24-year-old is only going to get better.
