Fantasy Football has taken the world by storm in recent years, but the biggest storm yet has happened during the 2019/2020 season.Nearly every football fan indulges in the game, making it a weekly priority to change their team up depending on who they have in their XI and who their players are facing that very weekend.Triple captains, vice-captains, bench boosts and free hits, Fantasy Football really has come on over the years and it's no surprise that it's taken very seriously nowadays.Whether you just stick to leagues with your mates or work colleagues, or whether you actually try and finish top in the whole world, the game is pretty addictive, and for free, it's certainly worth getting involved in.Imagine that feeling of being crowned the number one champion in Fantasy Football.Well that's what happened for a Twitter user by the name of @TooGoodFPL, who had won this year's tournament by picking up a staggering 2,575 points. However, his title didn't last very long as he was stripped of the win due to a breach of regulations. The official Fantasy Premier League Twitter account this morning posted: "Following end of season checks, final standings have been updated. We can confirm that Joshua Bull is the official 2019/20 #FPL champion.

"Due to a breach of our terms, the team formerly occupying the number one position has been removed from #FPL."

The news was then confirmed in a statement by the Premier League, who wrote: "Joshua Bull has been confirmed as the overall winner of Fantasy Premier League 2019/20.

"Following end-of-season checks, final standings have been updated within the game, leaving Southampton fan Joshua and his team 'The Bulldozers' top of the table.

"His score of 68 in Gameweek 38+, in which he played his Wildcard, was enough to hold off the challenge of Chris McGowan’s Aúpa Atleti and Will Turner’s Martial Mata’s LP.

"The team formerly occupying the No 1 position has been removed from FPL due to a breach of our terms."

It's not yet known exactly what the original winner had done, but no doubt he will be kicking himself this morning after losing his tag as Fantasy Premier League champion.
