Leeds have enjoyed a particularly busy week on the transfer front.

Victor Orta is fresh from an excursion across Europe to find a striker and has now added four players to their ranks this summer.

Illan Meslier put pen to paper on a permanent deal a few weeks ago but Jack Harrison has now signed another loan deal as well.

That means the winger will stay at Elland Road for a third campaign.

However, some completely new faces have arrived in West Yorkshire too. This week the Whites confirmed the arrivals of both Joe Gelhardt from Wigan and Charlie Allen from Linfield.

Two teenagers who look set for a bright future, Orta isn't only prepping Leeds for the Premier League, but he's readying them for the years to come.

For Leeds, they've preferred a domestic approach in the window, being linked with the likes of Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma.

That looks set to continue with another British-based player potentially on the verge of signing for Leeds.

A story from 90min this week suggested that United were considering a swoop for Ryan Fraser.

The former Bournemouth winger left the Cherries behind earlier this summer and is now a free agent.

However, the Whites are facing plenty of competition to land the Scottish winger.

Arsenal and Tottenham have cooled their interest but newly-promoted sides Fulham and West Brom are now considering taking the 26-year-old on a free transfer.

Also pondering a move for Fraser this summer are Crystal Palace, Brighton, Newcastle and West Ham.

The Scot is clearly not short of suitors.

Ryan Fraser

GIVEMESPORT'S Matt Dawson says...

If there's one area where Leeds don't really need to find new players this summer, it would be on the flanks.

Fraser may have plenty of Premier League experience to his name, but he was incredibly disappointing last term, registering just one goal and four assists.

That was in stark contrast to the campaign before, where he racked up as many as 15 assists in all competitions.

He was quite brilliant in 2018/19, earning comparisons to a certain Eden Hazard, now at Real Madrid.

Ryan Fraser pre-game

Sky Sports writer Adam Bate declared in October 2018 that the forward had shown "shades of Hazard" in his performances, becoming a menace with the ball glued to his feet.

On a free transfer, there are few risks to landing Fraser, a player who is hardworking and incredibly fast both on and off the ball.

However, with Harrison barely missing a game this season on the left flank, it would take quite something for Bielsa to all of a sudden ditch him and play Fraser on the left.

You can see why a host of clubs are pursuing him, but he wouldn't fit in at Elland Road at the moment.
