Tottenham Hotspur completed their first signing of the summer transfer window earlier this week.
The club secured a deal to bring in Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton, strengthening their midfield in the process.
GIVEMESPORT understands Spurs have paid around £15 million for the Denmark international, and he has signed a contract until 2025 in north London.
To help finance the deal, Kyle Walker-Peters has moved the other way, in a deal that has cost the Saints around £12m, per sources, meaning Spurs have paid around £3m in total for Hojbjerg.
He has plenty of Premier League experience, making 134 appearances for the south coast club, scoring five goals and registering six assists.
He was schooled at Bayern Munich, playing under Pep Guardiola and making 25 appearances for the senior squad.
As the summer transfer window continues apace, it appears that the club are making plans to restructure their squad following Hojbjerg’s arrival.
Football Insider reports that both Oliver Skipp and Jamie Bowden will be leaving the north London club as manager Jose Mourinho looks to make space for the ex-Bayern man.
Both players are set to depart on loan as they look to get first-team football under their belts.
There are said to be a number of clubs from the Championship and League One keen to take both players on short-term deals; Skipp has made 23 senior appearances for the club, while Bowden has yet to make his debut.
The pair can both play in defensive midfield and them both leaving would follow their strategy of letting young players move this summer.
Troy Parrott has joined Millwall in this transfer window, while TJ Eyoma has moved to Lincoln City.

This is a smart strategy from Spurs.
The club are allowing their best young talent to gain regular first-team football and that can only be a good thing.
It is something that happened all too rarely under Mauricio Pochettino.
He routinely kept the club’s top youngsters at the club in a bid to keep them exposed to his methods and their style of play.
The progress of the likes of Skipp, Walker-Peters, and Juan Foyth stalled as a result.
Now, though, with Mourinho in charge, it’s clear that they are changing their strategy and will be sending youngsters to clubs where they can develop and flourish.
