Mike Tyson’s trainer has posted an astonishing video of the former undisputed heavyweight champ’s training session ahead of his November bout with Roy Jones Jr.The social media clip shows Tyson’s ferocious power and speed as he trains on the pads with Brazilian MMA coach Rafael Cordeiro.Played in slow motion, the terrifying video demonstrates Tyson’s ruthless punches and quick feet in the ring as he prepares for the November 28 fight.Originally scheduled for September 12, the 54-year-old’s much anticipated return to the ring will see him face 51-year-old Roy Jones Jr in an eight-round exhibition fight later this year in California. But, according to Cordeiro, Iron Mike is in remarkable shape for someone who hasn’t fought since 2005, commenting: “Tyson has the intensity, speed and power of a 21-year-old.

“As soon as we started training, I said 'My Lord',” he continued. “I didn't know what to expect from a guy who hasn't hit mitts for – I think – almost ten years. So I didn't expect to see what I saw – I saw a guy with the same speed, the same power as a guy who is 21, 22-years-old.“And I can tell; you would have to be a good guy to spar with Mike, because if you don't prepare, he is going to drop you for sure – 100%. The power is different level. When you talk about power, I held his right hook and thought ‘he is going to kill somebody’.”

WBC heavyweight mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte is far from happy with the decision to allow the fight to go ahead.

“It's silly. If they can't sanction a fight with me for three years, why the hell are they going to sanction a fight with a 53-year-old man,” he argued on talkSPORT earlier this year.

Whether or not the fight does ultimately go ahead, I think we can all agree we wouldn’t fancy our chances against Tyson after watching this clip!
