Celtic showed their intent ahead of Sunday's Old Firm clash at Ibrox by thumping Kilmarnock 4-0 in fine style at Rugby Park.

A Kris Commons double and a Gary Hooper strike had the Clydesdale Bank Premier League points tied up before the interval with Anthony Stokes notching a fourth at the start of the second half.

Neil Lennon's side moved a point behind Rangers in the SPL standings, having played a game less.
