Paris Saint-Germain are through to their first ever Champions League final. The French club beat RB Leipzig 3-0 in their semi-final on Tuesday to book a place in Sunday’s showpiece event. For the last three seasons, PSG had crashed out in the last-16. For four consecutive campaigns before that, they lost in the quarter-finals.With Neymar and Kylian Mbappe leading their line, you really bet against them. That’s until you realise their opponents in the final could well be Bayern Munich. The German side look incredible right now after dismantling Barcelona 8-2 in their quarter-final.p1eg2ofam012vftdqn6m1ai9116lb.jpgThey still have a semi-final against Lyon to navigate but everyone is backing the Bavarians to win their sixth European Cup.Will that experience count come Sunday’s final?Well, one thing was very noticeable following PSG’s semi-final win against Leipzig. The players, quite rightly, celebrated their victory wildly both on the pitch, in the dressing room and back at their hotel.

After years of failure, they fully deserve to enjoy this moment.

However, let’s just compare that to the reaction of Bayern Munich players after they thrashed Barca 8-2.

Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge revealed the scenes in the side’s changing room just minutes after recording one of the greatest wins in their history.

"I went to the locker room after the game and I was expecting the guys to be celebrating this great victory," Rummenigge told Sky Sports Italia. "But I saw them there, very calm and focused instead, [and] ready for the next game."

Does that sum up the difference in mentality between the two clubs?

Of course, Bayern still need to beat a very impressive Lyon to set up a mouth-watering final against PSG.

But it seems they’re fully focused on doing just that.
