All he needs to do is win the Ballon d’Or and perhaps win a league title in a country other than France and he’s pretty much done the lot.
In 122 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain, Mbappe has notched 90 goals justifying why the French club paid a reported £166 million to sign him.
He’s even been compared to the legendary Ronaldo Nazario on more than one occasion with Rio Ferdinand becoming the latest to do just that.
“He's the nearest thing we've seen to Ronaldo,” Ferdinand said on BT Sport on Tuesday night.
“In terms of impact on the world scene as a teenager, Michael Owen is on a level.
