The Metro is reporting that Brazilian starlet Neymar is to be signed by Chelsea over Carlo Ancelotti's head, with the manager wanting to wait to bring the star to Stamford Bridge.

Neymar has always made his intentions to play for Chelsea clear, saying it would be a ‘dream of every player’ to play for the English giants. But Ancelotti has said he is not interested in the youngster for now, saying that Neymar needs more time to develop before Chelsea will take him on.

"He's very young, a fantastic talent," Ancelotti told reporters after Scotland played Brazil in a friendly, in which Neymar scored twice.

"At this moment, we're not interested."

But according to reports, with Ancelotti on the way out at Chelsea, owner Roman Ibramovich is once more taking over the reins in completing high profile signings behind Ancelotti's back.

Neymar, who has been dubbed the new Pele for his roots in Santos, has been valued by the Daily Mirror at £30 million, and although Santos president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro de Oliveira has recently said Neymar is not for sale, Ibramovic has never let resistance get in the way of him snagging a Brazilian star in the past.
