Antonio Conte was unable to prevent his Inter Milan side losing to Sevilla in the Europa League final on Friday night. The Italian coach watched on helplessly as Romelu Lukaku’s unfortunate own goal sealed the trophy for Inter’s Spanish opponents.Inter took an early lead through Lukaku but two goals in 20 minutes from Luuk de Jong put Sevilla 2-1 up. Diego Godin levelled the scores before full-time but Sevilla had the last laugh when Diego Carlos’s audacious overhead kick was turned into his own net by Lukaku.Conte was visibly angry on the touchline during the first half and was even shown a yellow card by referee Danny Makkelie. It soon emerged that Conte was angry with Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega, who reportedly teased the Inter boss about his hair transplant.Banega is alleged to have told Conte: “Let’s see if this wig is real”.There are even suggestions that the Argentine international tugged at Conte’s hair, although there’s no evidence this actually happened.

This is, however, evidence of the moment Banega and Conte clashed.

And the footage clearly shows Banega rubbing his hair while looking at an increasingly angry Conte.

Conte reportedly told the Sevilla star “I’ll see you after the game” in response to the insult.

Banega had clearly touched a nerve.

He isn’t the first person in football to tease Conte about his hair transplant.

Jose Mourinho couldn’t resist a cheeky pop during his time as Manchester United manager, telling reporters: "I could answer in many different ways but I'm not going to lose my hair to speak about Antonio Conte."

Unfortunately for Conte, he didn’t even have the last laugh on Friday night.

And in his post-match press conference, the 51-year-old admitted that he could leave Inter this summer.

“We're going to meet next week with the club and we'll decide about my future,” he told Sky Sport Italia, per Goal. “I’m not sure that I'll be the Inter manager next season, we'll decide together.

“Inter will plan the future with or without me."

Per journalist Fabrizio Romano, Massimiliano Allegri is the favourite to replace Conte at Inter.
