Bayern Munich and PSG will compete for the chance to be crowned Champions League winners when they face each other at the Estadio Da Luiz in Lisbon on Sunday evening. (8pm BST kick-off).
To put things simply, this is the dream final, pitting two of Europe's heavyweights against each other in what is sure to be an exhilarating game of football.
It would have been quite the story to see either Leipzig or Lyon in the final on Sunday but this is the game everyone wants to see.
It's Robert Lewandowski vs Neymar, Serge Gnabry vs Kylian Mbappe, Alphonso Davies vs Angel Di Maria - this will be elite football at its finest.
Bayern have already won the competition on five occasions but this will be the very first time PSG have made it to the final.
The German side are full of tradition, a club steeped in history. PSG have their own rich past, but until they were boosted by the money of QSI, had been left behind by Barcelona, Real Madrid and co.
This is their chance to achieve something that Unai Emery received the sack for. Even on crutches, Thomas Tuchel has masterminded his way through the latter stages in Portugal.
Hansi Flick, meanwhile, guided his Bayern team past Barcelona in dumbfounding fashion. After that result, they will surely be slim favourites.
Competition so far
PSG didn't truly discover their swagger in the knock-out stages until the semi-finals, finding life hard after coasting through their relatively easy group.
Although they had to face Real Madrid, they remained unbeaten as they also swatted aside Club Brugge and Galatasary to finish top of group A.
However, life has been made more difficult for them since the Champions League's hiatus.
They were 2-1 down after the first leg against Dortmund in the last 16 before winning 2-0 in the return leg. They then came within a matter of minutes of being knocked out by Atalanta.
In one of the most memorable finishes to a European clash in recent years, the Serie A side were 1-0 up with a minute remaining. Step forward Marquinhos. The Brazilian slammed home a penalty and then in heartbreaking fashion for Atalanta, they conceded a late winner to Eric Choupo-Moting.
Fortunately for the Parisians, their semi-final against RB Leipzig was a little easier as goals from Di Maria, Juan Bernat and Marquinhos sealed a 3-0 victory.
Bayern, however, haven't lost a single game in the competition this term.
They soared through the group phase with absolute ease, winning every match and scoring 24 goals in the process. In beating Spurs, Olympiacos and Red Star Belgrade, they were drawn against Chelsea in the last 16.
Remarkably, they won 7-1 on aggregate as Flick's side put on a clinic of attacking football. Things only got better for the Bundesliga club after they demolished Barcelona 8-2 in a truly incredible display. Lionel Messi was made to look average as Davis and Gnabry ran riot.
Bayern then found life easy against Lyon too, beating them 3-0. Lewandowski and Gnabry were on hand once again.
Last time out
PSG and Bayern have met nine times in their history, facing each other on eight occasions in competitive football.
The stats are only just in favour of the Ligue 1 outfit who have won five of those encounters. The clubs have never drawn so we could expect the match to be done in 90 minutes, rather than going to extra time or a dreaded penalty shoot-out.
Throughout those fixtures, PSG have scored 13 times while Bayern have found the net on 14 occasions. Clearly, there has been little to separate the two in years gone by.
When they last met in competitive action, a group stage clash in 2017/18, Bayern came out on top 3-1.
To make things even more interesting, the competition's top attacking side will take on the best defensive team in the tournament.
Bayern have netted 42 goals compared to PSG's 25. The former have also taken a Champions League high 230 attempts at goal.
Tuchel's side, meanwhile, have let in just five goals. Bayern have conceded eight.
It'll be fascinating to see whether PSG's defence finally succumb.
Players to watch
This is a game that'll be full of some of the most glistening names in world football.
However, none are arguably better at the moment than Lewandowski. The Polish striker has been tipped to win FIFA's 'The Best' award for the most impressive player over the last year and his form this season has been truly outrageous.
Lewandowksi has beaten the 'keeper on 55 occasions in just 46 outings this term and is also the competition's top scorer. Gnabry is another name to keep an eye on after bagging nine goals in this season's Champions League.
The attacking triumvirate of Neymar, Mbappe and Di Maria will have to be monitored closely by the Bayern defence.
The first two names have scored a combined 49 strikes in 2019/20 while Di Maria has created the most goals of any player in the tournament (6) - a tally that equals Lewandowski.
Mbappe, meanwhile, ranks third on the list for most shots on target in the competition this season.
Team news
Bayern have just one player doubtful ahead of Sunday evening's clash - Jerome Boateng. Flick suggested that he has muscular problems during the semi-final and consequently had to be substituted off.
PSG's treatment table looks fairly lengthy in comparison.
They could be without Idrissa Gueye who is suffering from a muscular problem, while Layvin Kurzawa has a thigh issue.
Keylor Navas also has a thigh injury and Marco Verratti is struggling with a problem to his calf.
