Aston Villa are in the mood to spend again.
Last summer they bought over £120m worth of talent in the transfer market only to stagger and stutter to a 17th place finish in the Premier League.
In some senses, the spending paid off. Ultimately, they stayed in the top-flight and that would have been the goal at the start of the season.
However, you can't help but feel the Villans wasted a lot of cash. Is it really any surprise Sporting Director Jesus Garcia Pitarch left? Probably not.
Johan Lange is now in charge of recruitment and despite not signing anyone yet, have eyed up some impressive young talents.
The likes of Said Benrahma and Ollie Watkins have been linked, two of Dean Smith's former players at Brentford.

Reports from The Scottish Sun over the weekend revealed that Aston Villa could well break their transfer record this summer.
That's because they're plotting a £30m bid for one of the most sought-after strikers in the British game - Odsonne Edouard.
The claims suggest that Villa will test Celtic's resolve with Arsenal on the verge of pulling out of the race to sign the young Frenchman.
Crystal Palace and Leicester are also in the hunt to sign the 22-year-old who isn't set to come cheap before the window closes.
Celtic have been trying to tie Edouard down to a new contract but have so far had no success. It wouldn't be a surprise if, like Moussa Dembele of a few years ago, he gets a move away.

Edouard is a ruthless finisher, one that can change the course of a game in an instant. He scored 27 times last season, registering a colossal 19 assists in the process.
It wasn't a surprise that he was eventually named Celtic's Player of the Season.
The forward has started the new campaign where he left off. He scored a hat-trick on the opening weekend of the SPFL and has also netted in Champions League qualifying.
With Villa in desperate need of finding more goals, he'd be the perfect addition. Wesley and Mbwana Samatta simply aren't good enough to guide the team to safety given their goal tally of six last season so they shouldn't be shy to break their transfer record.
After all, this is someone described as a "special talent" by his current manager Neil Lennon.
You only need to look at the success around the country to realise just how profitable a move of this type can be. Virgil van Dijk and Kieran Tierney both arrived from Scottish shores before impressing in England.
It is no coincidence that so many teams are interested in Edouard's services.
