Liverpool face Arsenal in Saturday’s Community Shield as they prepare to defend their Premier League title.Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently in Austria and played their first pre-season friendly last weekend.They beat German side Stuttgart 3-0 thanks to goals from Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita and Rhian Brewster.On Tuesday afternoon they played their second exhibition match as they took on Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg.However, within 13 minutes, they found themselves 2-0 down after Patson Daka’s brace.Things got in the second half when Virgil van Dijk was forced off after 56 minutes after picking up a nasty gash above his eye.p1egj5j70t16pv1jnsodgn3a1tjif.jpgBut the game changed when Brewster came on in the 64th-minute.The 20-year-old striker got himself on the scoresheet within eight minutes after good work from James Milner.Nine minutes later, he equalised.The Salzburg goalkeeper saw his clearance hit Mohamed Salah as the ball fell to Brewster 20 yards out. And he made the finish look incredibly easy as he half-volleyed the ball into the back of the net.

It will certainly be interesting to see what Klopp plans to do with Brewster this coming season. But fans are in no doubt that he should feature heavily in the coming months. Check out the reaction on social media:

With three goals in just 70 minutes of football during this pre-season, surely he deserves a chance in the first-team this season.

Even if it's a bit-part role, coming off the bench for the last 20 minutes or so, he certainly knows where the back of the net is.

And if Roberto Firmino has a similar season in front of goal than he had during the 2019/20 season, he may well be dropped to the bench for some matches.
