All Elite Wrestling's Jon Moxley has been ranked as the best wrestler of 2020, according to Pro Wrestling Illustrated's annual list.
The latest issue won't hit the shelves until September 22, but Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose during his WWE stint, is the poster boy after topping the list.
If you are unfamiliar with the PWI rankings and are unsure how they are ranked, below is the criteria they use when considering every wrestler.
First and foremost, the evaluation period for this year’s PWI 500 is July 1, 2019 through to June 30, 2020.
The criteria for the rankings is as follows:
- Win-loss record
- Technical ability
- Influence on the sport
- Success against the highest grade of competition
- Success against the most diverse competition
- Activity

As you can see, the top five is pretty stacked with unbelievable talent. Adam Cole and Drew McIntyre come in as the two WWE representatives, while Moxley and Jericho represent AEW. Naito comes in thanks to his work with New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Last year's number one comes in at eighth this year, with Seth Rollins dropping down seven places, joining fellow WWE superstars Kofi Kingston, AJ Styles, Keith Lee, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns in the top 15.
