Patrice Evra is one of the best defenders the Premier League has ever seen. With Manchester United, he won five top-flight titles, three League Cups, four Community Shields, the Champions League and even the Club World Cup.The Frenchman played 379 games for the Red Devils and even captained them on numerous occasions. He spent most of his career - and his prime years - at Old Trafford, but also had spells with Juventus, Marseille and West Ham before retiring from professional football in 2019. Throughout his career, Evra's love for the game was clear and it seems he's not lost that, despite hanging up his boots. Now 39, his professional career is over, but that won't stop the defender playing non-league football. Evra won it all with Man UnitedOver the weekend, footage of Evra turning out for amateur side Brentham FC emerged - and it's absolutely brilliant. The club play in the Middlesex County League - level 11 of England's National League System and were beaten 3-2 by North Greenford United. Check out Evra, who was playing as a left-winger, in action below:

Absolutely class. He really does love this game!

Seeing the former Champions League winner feature in a Brentham kit was certainly a shock for regulars in the Middlesex County League.

"Crazy to come on for Evra. Not every day you come on for a champions league winner," Stan Cargill, who replaced the former Man United star as a sub, tweeted.

Evra played non-league football on Saturday

Evra himself reacted to the video going viral on social media, writing: "Thanks for letting me play with you guys... such a good day, don’t worry Giggsy I honoured your number the best I could."

It's always great to see former pros turning out in non-league football. Next time though, Brentham might have more luck if they stick Evra at left-back... we hear he used to be quite good there.
