Tottenham completed their third major summer signing on Sunday. Matt Doherty has joined from Wolves in a £15m deal, following Joe Hart and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to north London. "I’m extremely happy, I’m very proud to be joining such a big club," the defender said during his first interview with Spurs."With the size of the club, the fact that we’ve got the best stadium in the world and the manager... once I knew there was interest it was a no-brainer for me to get myself down to London."There are many things that I can do and I’ll give absolutely everything I can for this club." It sounds like Doherty is very excited to join Tottenham, but ever since to deal was rumoured, rival fans have been revelling in the fact he's a well-known Arsenal supporter. Multiple tweets from as far back as 2012 have been re-circulated that read: "I love Arsenal forever and ever and ever" and "Yes I am a HUGE Arsenal fan!"  Doherty is a big Arsenal fanEven Spurs acknowledged them, by getting Doherty to 'delete' his previous posts in a hilarious announcement video, which you can see HERE.But following the announcement, Gunners fans have gone even further to embarrass the defender by posting a clip of an old interview, where Doherty names Dennis Bergkamp as his biggest hero.He also reveals that as a child, he asked for an Arsenal kit for Christmas every year with the striker's name on the back. Check it out:

Let's be honest, that's very good banter from Arsenal fans. The clip is quickly going viral too.

But Doherty probably won't care. He's secured a big-money move to a team that's expected to challenge for Champions League football next season.

If he can help Tottenham finish above Arsenal come next May, then he'll have the last laugh.
